I was thirteen when I started this craft. I was inspired by my families love in crafting and fixing things. It gave me an urge to make something worthy enough to be called a great tool and to provide a unique experience to the wielder. I remember the awe I had the first time I picked up a sword. My life’s passion is to create that feeling in others with my work. To create the increasingly rare wholesome tool.
Running man forge is located at Travis AFB, California. I make high end cutlery and outdoor knives. Everything is handcrafted in house. From Wood stabilizing to custom Damascus. Running man forge is all about customizing too. I want to make every one of the knives that leave the shop unique.
Running man Forge started after my hobby of knife making turned into a part time business. Now a full time maker since 2019.
I started by working 10 hour shifts at a day job, then commuting home to then spend a couple hours in the shop. plus weekends. Making this career possible was a tremendous leap of faith that payed off. I give the credit to all my loyal customers that keep coming back. I make everything with you guys in mind. i now have established my own little corner of the knife market. Also, recently i have been teaching others the craft and it has been a great experience.
